Zoë Turner is an experienced and supportive singing teacher and professional soprano, with a strong background in classical and operatic performance. She trained at the Royal Academy of Music and Trinity College of Music, gaining her L.T.C.L. and Dip.T.C.L., and was awarded the Ricordi Opera Prize during her studies.

Zoë has many years of experience teaching children and teenagers and currently teaches at the City of London School for Girls and Charterhouse Square School, as well as privately in London and Derby. She specialises in working with young voices and places great emphasis on healthy, age-appropriate vocal technique, ensuring that students develop safely and with confidence.

She prepares students for graded singing exams with ABRSM, Trinity College London, and London College of Music (LCM), from initial grades through to higher levels. Zoë offers clear guidance on repertoire selection, technical development, sight-singing, aural skills, and performance preparation, helping students feel calm, confident, and well-prepared on exam day.

Lessons are structured, encouraging, and tailored to each individual student’s needs and learning style. Zoë works with complete beginners as well as more advanced pupils preparing for exams, school concerts, auditions, and performances. Her teaching aims to build strong vocal foundations while also nurturing musical expression and self-confidence.

Zoë creates a positive, supportive learning environment where students enjoy singing, make steady progress, and take pride in their achievements. She works closely with parents and schools to ensure each young singer receives the guidance and encouragement they need to reach their full potential.
